How many images will you deliver?
This is always unique to each wedding or event, depending on how many hours I am there, how many details there are as well as travel time and distance between photo locations. On average with 1 photographer you will receive around 50-60 images per hour and with two photographers 80-100 images per hour for a wedding. For an event you should receive roughly 20-30 images per hour with 1 photographer and 50-60 images with 2 photographers
Are the images edited and can I print them anywhere I’d like?
Yes the images are all high resolution and ready to print. I do recommend ordering images through me as I get them from a professional lab that is only open to photographers. The labs available to non-professionals are usually not as high quality as the image deserves (chemicals and paper quality used). I do have a print and album price list I share with my clients in case they decide to buy anytime after their wedding or event.
Will I receive images in black and white as well?
Yes, I use my artistic discretion to choose which images will look great in black and white. You will receive the image in colour as well. If there are some images you’d really like in black and white just let me know and I’d be happy to provide that for you.
Do you use professional equipment?
I am a Canon photographer and have top of the line camera bodies (I always have a back up) as well as various lenses which I strategically use at different times of the day that reflect my style and best capture the scene.
How long have you been doing photography?
I fell in love with photography in high school and studied at Humber College. I graduated at the young age of 19 and have been doing photography ever since. After a few years in the industry, I took some time to focus on obtaining my BA and BEd –with a major in art history and French– and now I am also a teacher, but I have always kept my passion alive. This is my small business and I love working on weddings and events. It is such an honour to be able to document your wedding, event or milestone.
Do you accommodate multiple locations?
Yes I accommodate multiple locations at no extra charge. A small fee may apply to locations 100km outside of the GTA.
Do you work with other photographers? Who is your wedding second shooter?
Some events may require two photographers so I will have other photographers work with me as needed who are skilled and professional. I work with a handful of great wedding photographers who will second shoot for me when they are not booked for the same day. I do not use just an assistant but an actual second wedding photographer. My photographers are great and capture many candid shots from different perspectives that I am unable to capture. I always use experienced second shooters who shoot to my style and who work well with me so that we always know who needs to be where to capture every sweet moment. The second shooter will usually go to the groom’s preparation location while I am with the bride to save on time before the ceremony.
