Tara & Ricardo's Wedding at Oakville Conference Center

October 24th was a rainy and crisp Fall day and Tara and Ricardo were about to celebrate the most joyous event in their lives. Tara was all smiles as I met her while she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. I loved shooting her getting ready, her gorgeous dress, her flowers and her amazing details. The rustic wood ring box was such a nice touch to match her rustic themed wedding! Tara was such a sweet bride – always asking me if I was all right and what was new with me (during consultations as well) - she’s always thinking of others.

Their ceremony was to take place outside at the gazebo at the Oakville Conference Center but since it was drizzling they set up inside. It was breathtaking! It was white on white and couldn’t have been dreamier! Baby’s breath lined the white aisle – the guests were sitting in white covered chairs and the altar was draped in white fabric and more white flowers. Ricardo’s expression was the best as he saw his bride for the first time.

Tara was the cutest as she tried to say Ricardo’s full name with a Spanish accent – she giggled through it! They read vows to each other that were so thoughtful and sweet – Ricardo mentioned how they felt like soul mates and were fated to have met when they did at The Rex in Toronto.  The rain then held out during most of the bridal party pictures at Bronte Creek Park - the leaves were gorgeous colours of orange, green and yellow. The reception was so much fun with live bongo players, a great environment and great music!

Congrats T & R – cheers to so many years of happiness together :) OX
